The Cosmosphere Podcast
Since its humble beginnings in 1962, visitors from across the globe have come to Hutchinson to discover the inspiration that can only be found at the Cosmosphere. Now, take a digital journey into history and science with The Cosmosphere Podcast. Also available via Apple Podcasts.
In addition to hosting podcast episodes, I've also spoken at the Coffee at the Cosmo events at the Cosmosphere. Here are two of the most recent presentations I've given.
In 2019 I wrote a series of over fifty posts celebrating the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 for the Cosmosphere's social media accounts.
The amazingly talented Michele McCartney edited nearly all of the photographs with the "Celebrating Apollo 11" watermark, with me filling in as needed due to scheduling constraints.
The campaign included ~65 images and illustrations selected from NASA archives, photos I took at the Cosmosphere, and Cosmosphere archive photos.
In all, just over 10,000 words were written for this campaign and it is one of the most rewarding things I've ever created. I'm so thankful for the Cosmosphere for the chance to share this history on the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission.
These screenshots below are examples of the posts on the Cosmosphere's Facebook page. You can read all 50 (plus a bonus post) by following this link. Then tap or click on the #50DaysofApollo11 to see more.
